Product Description

Basic structure:
* This Dynamic Viscosity Testing Equipment is composed of touch screen, constant temperature bath, heating tube, stirring motor, etc. Four vacuum capillaries can be placed at the same time, and the vacuum decompression system is used for supporting experiments.
What is Viscosity?
* The viscosity of a fluid is a measurement of its resistance to flow. The ratio of shearing stress to velocity gradient in a fluid is used to calculate viscosity.
* Viscosity is measured in Poiseuille, a SI unit of measurement (PI). 
* The viscosity of liquids reduces fast as the temperature rises, but the viscosity of gases rises as the temperature rises. As a result, liquids flow more freely when heated, and gases flow more slowly. Viscosity is also an intensive property since it does not vary when the amount of matter changes

Main technical features

1. The touch screen control system automatically controls the temperature, measures accurately, and has error correction functions.
2. The system has the function of capillary constant input, and the dynamic viscosity value is automatically calculated from the test results.
3. The heating device is a disc-shaped heating tube,it is stirred and convected by the motor to make the heating even.
4. The vacuum device is controlled on and off by a solenoid valve, which is controlled by 4 separate switches.
5. Built-in vacuum device, integrated design, vacuum pressure can be set, and the constant pressure can be automatically controlled.
6. The test results can be saved or printed directly through the printer.
7. There are four test holes, and four sample tests can be carried out at the same time.
8. There are lights below the water bath for outdoor observation

Types of viscosity

There are two types of viscosity of a fluid:
Dynamic Viscosity (Absolute Viscosity): This type of viscosity is used to measure the fluid's resistance to flow when a force is applied to it. The term for this is Dynamic Viscosity. 
Kinematic Viscosity: This type of viscosity is used to measure the fluid's resistive flow under gravity's weight. Kinematic viscosity is the name given to this measure of fluid viscosity.
Many people misunderstand the two viscosity measurements and believe they are one and the same. In actuality, they are rather different from one another. Kinematic viscosity is more beneficial than absolute or dynamic viscosity in a few instances.
