BS Cable and Wire Fire Resistance Tester
Product Description
The cable and Wire Fire Resistance Tester is suitable for mineral-insulated cables with a rated voltage not exceeding 0.6~1KV and can maintain circuit integrity for a long time under flame conditions. It complies with the British fire-resistant cable standard BS6387 "Specification of performance requirements for cables that maintain circuit integrity under fire conditions". The operation is controlled by computer software, which can monitor the current, voltage, and gas flow during the test, and the test result curve can be output and printed.

Feature:
1. Fire-resistant characteristic bracket: It consists of two metal ring brackets with an intermediate distance of about 300mm. The inner diameter of the experimental support metal ring is about 150mm, and the ring cross-section diameter is 10+-2mm. A clamp is installed on one end of the sample holder to fix the sample, and the other end is free to support, the heat of the sample is transferred along the longitudinal direction of the sample.
2. Fire-resistant impact bracket:
1) For cables with IEC60331-1 sample outer diameter exceeding 20mm, the impact test ladder frame is composed of a steel frame. The two vertical steel members in the center of the ladder frame can be adjusted left and right. The test ladder frame is 1200-100mm long. The height is 60050mm, and the total mass of the test ladder frame is 24±1kg (the national standard is 18±1kg).
2) For cables with an outer diameter of IEC60331-2 specimens not exceeding 20mm, the test wall is composed of heat-proof, non-flammable non-metallic material firmly fixed on 2 horizontal steel support rods, with a plate length of 900+-100mm and a height of 900+-100mm. It is 300+-50mm and 10+-2mm thick; the support rod is a 25×25mm square steel pipe about 1m long, and the total mass of the test wall is 10.0+-0.5kg.
3) The impact bracket is fixed on the rigid support rod by four rubber bushings. The hardness of the rubber bushings is Shore A50~60. The impact rod is a low carbon steel round rod with a diameter of (25+- 0.1) mm and a length of (600+-5) mm. The angle of the impact rod is 60°. Both impact brackets are removable and replaceable.
