Introduction:
GD-0722A Centrifugal Extractor is designed and made as per T0722-1993 and ASTM D2172 Standard Test Method for Bitumen Content of Bituminous Mixture by the Centrifuge Separation Method in Industrial Standard of People's Republic of China JTG E20-2011 Specification and Test Methods for Bitumen and Bituminous Mixture for Highway Engineering. It is suitable to determine bitumen content (bitumen-mineral aggregate ratio) in the bituminous mixture, which is made of viscous petroleum bitumen, by the centrifuge separation method. It is an ideal instrument for pavement construction units, detection unit, scientific research institutions and colleges.
Working Principle
Centrifugal extractor is a new, fast and efficient liquid-liquid mixing and separation equipment. The centrifugal extractor uses a motor to drive the drum to rotate at high speed. Two immiscible liquids with different densities complete the mixing and mass transfer under the action of the shear force generated by the rotation of the drum or blades, and are quickly separated to different outlets under the action of the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotation of the drum. It is widely used in fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, hydrometallurgy, petrochemicals, environmental protection, plant extraction and other industries.
