Product Description

1. The freezing point is the temperature required for a substance to change from liquid to solid. It is the reverse transition temperature of the melting point and is a parameter that presents several problems in industrial settings.
2. In fact, the melting point is the temperature at which a solid element transforms into a liquid. Most substances, including pure substances, are considered to have the same melting and freezing points. In contrast, some substances, such as mixtures and compounds, have a melting point higher than their freezing point.
3. ASTM Method D1177 is a test method covering laboratory methods for determining the freezing point of aqueous coolant solutions.
For certain petroleum-derived matrices, ASTM method D938 covers the determination of the freezing point of petroleum waxes, including petroleum jelly. Such testing can be performed by laboratories specializing in petrochemical analysis of automotive lubricants, gear oils, hydraulic oils and waxes.
4. The freezing point of the aviation fuel is the lowest temperature at which the fuel remains free of solid hydrocarbon crystals that can restrict the flow of fuel through filters if present in the fuel system of the aircraft.
5. The temperature of the fuel in the aircraft tank normally decreases during flight depending on aircraft speed, altitude, and flight duration.
6. The freezing point of the fuel must always be lower than the minimum operational fuel temperature.
7. The freezing point analyzer is also suitable for measuring the freezing point of aqueous engine coolant solutions by cooling a sample with continuous agitation until a plateau is observed in a time-temperature curve.

Main technical features

1. The cold bath is made of stainless steel,double glass observing window,with the advanced temperature control technology,the lowest temperature degree is -70ºC, the temperature accuracy is ±0.1ºC, fitting standard GB/T 2430,SH/T 0090 and ASTM D1177, ASTM D2386  for the freezing point test requirement.
2. Automatically judge the freezing point temperature.
3. According to the different configuration,it can be used to test the freezing point etc. indexes of jet fuel,engine coolant and its concentrated solution, it's a multipurpose freezing point tester.
4. It's the floor stand structure, the work table-board is made of stainless steel, concise design, nice appearance, convenient usage, fully furnished.     5. The max characteristic: Unit as one to measure jet fuel freezing point and engine coolant freezing point; automatically stirring sample and judging the freezing point temperature, fast cooling, high precision temperature control, full spraying plastic case, wear well.
