Digital Insulation resistance tester embedded real-time industrial microcomputer operating system, ultra-thin wire-shaped sheets header with the perfect combination of dot matrix liquid crystal display, the instrument is with a variety of voltage output level (250V,500V,1000V,2500V, 5000V,10000V),high capacity, strong anti-interference, the pointer and digital synchronous display, AC-DC dual-use, simple operation, automatic calculation of various insulation index (absorption ratio, polarization index), all measured characteristics with the anti-power-down function. 

Application

Insulation Resistance tester use a high voltage, low current DC charge to measure the resistance within wires and motor windings to identify current leakage and faulty or damaged insulation, which can lead to arc faults, blown circuits, and risk of electrical shock or fire. Megohmmeters are ideal for monitoring machine health and improving preventative maintenance efforts.

It mainly used for  measuring high capacity transformers, transformers, generators, high voltage electric motors, power capacitors, power cables, surge arresters and other ideal insulation resistance test equipment.

Battery charging

1,The instrument can be powered by both AC and DC, but it is recommended to use the internal power supply of the instrument when the field power supply is more disturbing or unstable.
2, the first use of the instrument, need to charge 6 hours. Otherwise, the instrument can not work properly.
3,The charging circuit adopts special intelligent charging management module, which can stop charging automatically.
Note: Before charging, please make sure the AC input voltage range should be 220V AV±15% to avoid unnecessary losses caused by wrong power connection.
4,Insert the power cord provided with the instrument, turn on the AC power, the charging indicator light is on and charging starts.
5,After the battery is full, the charging indicator (full) lights up, then you can disconnect the AC power, and the instrument can be put into use.
Note: When the instrument is not used for a long time, make sure the power switch (9) is off. And every 1-2 months for charging maintenance.
