GD-2801C Automatic Needle Penetrometer Bitumen Penetration Apparatus Our needle penetrometer is designed and made as per ASTM D5 Standard Test Method for Penetration of Bituminous Materials and ASTM D217 Standard Test Methods for Cone Penetration of Lubricating Grease.
It is mainly used to determine the needle penetration of bituminous mixture and cone penetration of lubricating grease (or petrolatum).
It is also suitable to determine solid particle,powder, colloid an draw-food materials such as cheese,glycine,butter,cream and leavening.

What are the precautions for the needle penetration tester?
1. To lift the needle link again, move the moving lever of the display to the upper end first, and then press the release button, instead of pulling it out while the needle link is locked, so as not to damage the connecting rod and the rod cover.
2. After each test is completed, the standard needle should be removed, oiled for protection and put into the protection.
3. When the instrument is not in use, the experimental equipment and instruments should be wiped clean and placed in a ventilated and dry place.
