ASTM D93 Fully Automatic PMCC Flash Point Testing Instrument GD-261D is used to determine the closed cup flash point of petroleum products.This instrument adopts color LCD screen, full English man-machine interface. Having tip menu and oriented type input working method to the parameters of preset temperature, sample mark number,atmospheric pressure and test date.PMCC Flash Point Testing Instrument is high automatic,easy to use.It is suitable to the requirements of the national standard GB/T 261-2008 Determination of flash point(Pensky Martens Closed Cup) .It is the ideal substitution of the same kind of imported instrument and widely used in railway,aviation,electricity and petroleum industry and scientific research units.
Closed-cup flash point:
Used for light petroleum products with high evaporation. The test oil is heated in a closed oil cup. The lowest temperature at which a mixture of steam and air escaping from heated oil contacts a flame and causes an instant flash fire under specified conditions is called the closed-cup flash point.
If you need to measure fuel oil and other petroleum products with an open cup flash point above 79°C, we recommend using the GD-3536D Cleveland Open Cup Flash Point Tester.

Precautions
1. The instrument should work under no crrosion environment.The oil cup should be cleaned when changing the test sample.
2. Press manual rising up and lowering down to adjust when the sample be heated to expansion and flash point detecting ring immersed into oil.Pay attention that the adjustment range should not be oversize.
3. The flash point detecting ring should be kept clean.Operator can use the filter paper to clean the oil dirt so that to keep the detecting sensitivity of instrument.
4. When the instrument not in use,it should be putted in the environment which temperature is 10ºC~40ºC,relative humidity is under 80% and no etchant gas and harmful substance in the air.
5. If there is difference between operation manual and actual operation, take instrument as standard.
