Product Description

1. The flash point is the temperature at which so much highly flammable steam develops in a pot from the liquid to be tested that it could be momentarily fired by an external ignition. The testing methods and equipment vary depending on oil type and the expected flash point.
2. The astm d92 automatic flash point tester is designed and made as per GB/T3536-2008 Petroleum Products - Determination of Flash and Fire Points - Cleveland open cup method and ASTM D 92 Standard Test Method for Flash and Fire Points by Cleveland Open Cup Tester.
The astm d92 cleveland open cup flash point tester is applicable to all petroleum products with flash points above 79ºC and below 400ºC except fuel oils.

1. The Cleveland Open Cup Flash Point Apparatus should be used in a non-corrosive environment. When replacing the sample, the sample cup must be cleaned.
2. If there is any discrepancy between the instructions and the actual operation, the actual interface prompts and operating procedures of the instrument shall prevail.
3. The detection ring must be kept clean. If there is oil stain, it can be dried with filter paper to avoid affecting the detection sensitivity.
4. When the Cleveland Open Cup Flash Point Apparatus is not in use, it should be placed in an environment with a temperature of 5°C to 40°C, a relative humidity of less than 85%, and an air that does not contain corrosive gases and harmful substances.
5. It is advisable to adjust the height of the detection ring 2-3mm from the edge of the oil cup. When the sample is heated and expands, the detection ring may be immersed in the oil sample. At this time, the detection ring can be adjusted appropriately or the sample volume can be reduced.
6. If the Cleveland Open Cup Flash Point Apparatus is not used for a long time, it should be powered on once in no more than one month for no less than one hour.
Warning: When the Automatic Flash Point Tester fails, the power should be cut off immediately, and after the instrument is completely cooled, please ask professionals to overhaul and troubleshoot before continuing to use it to prevent accidents!
