ASTM D2272 Lub Oils Oxidation Stability Tester by Rotary Oxygen Bomb Method
The Oxidation Stability Tester is designed and made as per SH/T0193 and ASTM D2272. It is suitable to determine oxidation stability of new or in service turbine oil, which has the same components (base oil and additive). It is also a rapid method for determining the oxygen stability of new mineral insulating oils containing 2, 6-Di-tert-butyl-p-cresol. It can check pressure, record test data, and calculate oxidation time for measured sample automatically. It can also end a test automatically. It can save test curves and test data automatically when show them on the display. The operators can print them out when needed. The test can be completed automatically without any human involvement after you start a test. The Oxidation Stability Tester consists of stainless steel thermostatic oil bath, oxygen bomb rotating mechanism, oxygen filling and discharging solenoid valve, oxygen bomb assembly and oxygen bomb bracket.
Oxygen bomb assembly includes:
Bullet body, bullet cover, bullet rod, glass specimen cup, hand-controlled needle valve, pipeline quick connector, pressure sensor, rotary joint and pressure signal aviation plug. The oxygen bomb holder is under the front of the instrument, equipped with positioning pins, on which the oxygen bomb can be easily loaded and unloaded. The bottom foot of the instrument is designed with brake casters, which is both convenient to move and easy to fix.
