It is applicable to all petroleum products with flash points above 79ºC and below 400ºC except fuel oils.

This open cup falsh point tester is designed and made as per GB/T3536-2008 Petroleum Products - Determination of Flash and Fire Points - Cleveland open cup method and ASTM D 92 Standard Test Method for Flash and Fire Points by Cleveland Open Cup Tester. It is applicable to all petroleum products with flash points above 79ºC and below 400ºC except fuel oils.
 

 

Main technical features

• It adopts technology of single chip microcomputer and LCD screen. English man-machine interface.The heating device is continuously stepless adjustable.Easy to set parameters.
• The LCD screen has prompt menu, prompt type input for operation interface. It shows set parameters and real-time display sample temperature and other parameters. Press the record key when flash point appearing. The screen will display and save flash point value.
• It is newly design,having small structure. Stainless steel working table make it elegant and beautiful. The operator can do determination as long as connecting with coal gas or other civil gas. Easy to use and results are exact.
• Accurate heating rate.The instrument can do test automatically.
• Operator only need to observe the flash point appearing. The cost performance is high.
• It is equipped with wind-shelter and flame extinguishing cover which are accord with requirements of test.

Precautions

1. There are high fever in the oil cup and its nearby during the test process, and it is forbidden to touch!
2. Someone must be on duty during the test process
3. The instrument has a ignition device, operate in the ventilation kitchen (do not turn on the ventilator)
4. The temperature sensor is made of glass. Do not touch it with other items when using
5. There should be no other items interval between the opening cup and the heater
6. Do not press and lift it with your hands or other items during testing to avoid mechanical damage
