Low Temperature Asphalt Penetration Tester ASTM D5

Introduction:
1.  Penetration Tester ASTM D5 is designed and made as per  ASTM D5 Standard Test Method for Penetration of Bituminous Materials.
2.  Penetration Tester ASTM D5 is used to determine the penetration of pavement petroleum asphalt, modified asphalt, liquid petroleum asphalt and emulsified asphalt.
3.   Penetration Tester ASTM D5 is also suitable to test solid particle, powder, colloid and raw-food materials such as cheese, glycine, butter, cream and leavening. It can be widely used in food industry, highway engineering and other industrial fields.

Specially designed low-temperature circulatory water bath can supply the constant temperature water into glass bath on the penetrometer. It creates a constant low temperature which can be preset for the specimen.
