Cold-cranking simulator:
The cold-cranking simulator (CCS) is a device used to determine the low temperature performance of lubricants, when starting a cold engine (i.e. cold-cranking). In this condition, the only energy available to turn the engine comes from the starter motor and the battery, and it has been widely assumed that the system acts as a constant power viscometer. The use of this device for this purpose is standardized as ASTM D5293.

Description:
This instrument adopts semiconductor refrigeration lubricating oil apparent viscosity test, with automatic sampling and automatic cleaning structure, dynamic sampling, automatic cleaning, automatic testing, automatic storage, printing, and so on.

CCS Viscosity Standard:
The CCS Viscosity Standard ASTM D 5293 and SAE Specification J308, also known as the Cold-Cranking Simulator Viscosity Standard, is a premium-quality product that plays a pivotal role in ensuring accurate viscosity measurements. It complies with stringent industry standards and is primarily employed in cold-cranking simulators to maintain optimal performance in various mechanical systems.

Product structure:
Automated Cold-Cranking Simulator consists of a patented thermoelectrically-cooled rotor/stator with vacuum system and injection pump, 16 position sample table, a temperature verification kit, an integrated controller, a waste receiver, a recirculating cooler, proprietary software and a set of Cannon CL viscosity standards.
