ASTM D92 is a standard testing method developed by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). This method is mainly used to determine the flash point and ignition point of flammable liquids or semi-solid materials such as petroleum products, lubricants, asphalt, and coatings. It is an important indicator for evaluating the fire hazard and thermal stability of materials and is widely used in fields such as petrochemicals, aerospace, and coatings industry.
Flash point: Under specified conditions, the vapor emitted by a material when heated forms a combustible mixture with air, and the lowest temperature at which an instantaneous flash occurs for the first time (lasting less than 5 seconds) when the flame approaches.
Ignition point: The lowest temperature at which a flame can sustain combustion (lasting ≥ 5 seconds) when it comes into contact with a mixture of material vapor and air, usually above the flash point.
1. Equipped with an 8-inch color high-definition LCD touch screen and a fully Chinese human-machine dialogue interface.
2. Parameters such as temperature, sample name, and delayed temperature can be preset.
3. Accurately simulate and track the function curve of temperature and test time in real-time, and the software has a Chinese prompt for error correction.
4. The flash point tester comes with an atmospheric pressure sensor that automatically calibrates the impact of atmospheric pressure on the test results.
5. Adopting a gas electric integrated ignition head, electric ignition and gas ignition can be freely switched by software control without the need to replace any hardware.
6. Fully automatic rotating lifting arm, lifting, scanning, detecting, and printing data are automatically completed.
7. The forced cooling system quickly cools down the heating system, and the next test can be conducted within 10 minutes.
8. The silicon nitride ignition head automatically ignites without the need for manual use of an ignition gun.
9. It has flame detection and automatic ignition function, achieving intelligent flame maintenance and greatly extending the service life of the ignition head.
10. Flash point tester can be connected to the LIMS system through a USB interface.
