Bitumen Dynamic Viscometer by Vacuum Capillary Method
Summary:
>>> Our Bitumen dynamic viscometer is suitable for measuring the dynamic viscosity of viscous petroleum asphalt with a vacuum decompression capillary viscometer. Unless otherwise specified, the test temperature is 60ºCand the vacuum degree is 300mmHg.
>>> This Bitumen dynamic viscometer is made as per ASTM D2171 Dynamic Viscosity Test for Bitumen (Vacuum Capillary Method). It is used to determine the dynamic viscosity of sticky petroleum asphalts by vacuum capillary viscometer.It is also suitable to determine other materials which viscosity range is 0.0036~20.000Pa.s.
Main technical features
1. It can save 10 groups of coefficients at most. Operator can callout the data whenever need.
2. It adopts high accuracy pressure sensor. The vacuum degree can be kept at 300mmHg±0.5mmHg. It can be shown on the screen clearly.
3. The system will ignore the results which timing is less than 60s and enter next measurement step. The system will calculate the viscosity automatically for the results which timing is beyond 60s.
4. Operator can choose and set automatic calculation of average value and bias percentage for 2~4 parallel tests at will.The calculation can be done for several times to remove the unsatisfied results for operator. The test report can be printed.

Product Structure:
(1)Exhaust port: 4 ports from left to right. Connect them to the capillary tubes from 1# to 4# successively with the configured white rubber pipes.
(2) Capillary tubes:Vacuum capillary tubes. Radius for each one is 0.25mm, 0.5mm,1.0mm,2.0mm(2 pcs),4.0mm.
Four pieces of capillary tubes can be placed in the bath at a time. The number from left to right is1# ~ 4#.
(3) Cover of heater and stirring shaft: Heater and stirring vane are placed in the cover.
(4) Capillary tube holder:It is used to hold the capillary tube.
(5) Timing control buttons:From left to right:1# ~ 4#. It controls the air exhausting time from1# to 4# separately.(Please read details in Chapter VI.8 test operation)
(6) Display:Light touch colored LCD. Operator can control the test by operating the touch key on the screen. Meanwhile it shows parameters.
(7) Printer:Microprinter. It print the test result after test finished.
(8) Temperature controller: It controls the temperature in the bath. Precision is ±0.01ºC.
