ASTM D97 Petroleum Products Cloud and Pour Point Analyzer

Introduction: 

The pour point is the temperature point at which oil maintains flow under certain experimental conditions, ensuring the low-temperature fluidity of the oil. It is one of the important reference points for the working performance of oil and lubricating oil products. The cloud point is the temperature at which a bare liquid product becomes cloudy due to the formation of paraffin crystals under specified test conditions. Then the importance of testing the pour point and cloud point of oil is self-evident. Testing the pour point ensures the fluidity of the liquid to help the normal operation of the machine. Testing the cloud point is of great significance to prevent clogging of the instrument due to paraffin crystals.

Only one GD-510D Pour & Cloud Point Analyzer is needed to measure the pour point and cloud point of oil products at the same time. It is convenient and fast, and the test results are accurate.

GD-510D Pour & Cloud Point Analyzer is designed and made as per GB/T3535 "Standard Test Method for Pour Point of Petroleum Oils" , GB/T6986 "Standard Test Method for Cloud Point of Petroleum Oils" in the National Standard of People's Republic of China and ASTM D97 ,ASTM D2500.

Main technical features:
1. The working table is stainless steel material. It has two chambers(chamber I and chamber II) .Each chamber equipped two cooling baths.The temperature of these two baths are the same. All cooling baths can determine pour point and cloud point.
2. It is no need to use coolant in the chamber. The cooling speed is fast and cooling efficiency is high. The temperature controller I controls the temperature of chamber I and temperature controller II controls the temperature of chamber II. The minimum temperature of chamber II can reach -70ºC and temperature control precision is ±1ºC.
3. The instrument adopts bench structure, concise design and easy to use.
