Automatic Surface Tension Measurement Tensiometer by Du Nouy Ring Method
Introduction:
The Du nouy ring method is a traditional test method, which takes about 70 years. Using a platinum wire with a diameter of 0.37 mm made into a ring with a circumference of 60 mm. During the test, the platinum ring is immersed in the liquid surface (or two non-mixed interfaces) for 2-3 mm, and then the platinum ring is slowly lifted upward, and a film is formed between the ring and the liquid surface. The membrane has a pull-down force on the platinum ring, measuring the maximum force applied to the ring during the entire platinum ring lift process, and then converting it to a true surface (interface) tension value.
The Du nouy ring Tensiometer is based on Platinum Ring Method Principle to achieve accurate measurement of liquid surface tension value. The instrument integrates a number of advanced technologies, widely used in chemical, petroleum, electric power, scientific research, railways and other industries.
