Introduction:
The Bitumen Penetrometer is designed and made as per the standards GB/T4509 Standard Test Method for Penetration of Bitumen, T0604 Bitumen Penetration Test in the standard JTJ052-2000 Specifications and Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixtures for Highway Engineering and ASTM D5.
It is suitable to determine the penetration of highway bitumen, modified asphalt, as well as liquid petroleum asphalt or residue of emulsified asphalt after evaporation under low temperature condition. After purchasing optional accessories, it is possible to determine the penetration of wax, grease, and other substances. It has been widely used in the field of food industry, highway and traffic departments and other departments.
Features:
1. The Bitumen Penetrometer adopts computer control technology to automatically complete the penetration test. The LVDT is guaranteed by computer calibration technology. The measurement is accurate and reliable.
2. The instrument is equipped with a low temperature and constant temperature water bath. the temperature control precision can reach ±0.1ºC, and meet the constant temperature requirement in the range of (5.0~100.0)ºC.
3. The self-developed computer control software can realize communication with the computer; through the penetration test, the computer can automatically draw and print the nomogram of the relationship between the penetration rate of asphalt, and can calculate and determine the penetration index PI via the nomogram. Value; asphalt equivalent softening point T800; asphalt equivalent brittle point T1.2; asphalt plastic temperature range ΔT.
4. Lifting mechanism is novel in design, easy to adjust. Separately select standard needles, sample dishes, thermometers, and weights for different configurations, which can meet the requirements of GB/T 4509-1998 and GB/T 4509-2010.
