The electrical tracking index test is to apply a certain voltage between platinum electrodes of a specified size (2mm × 5mm) on the surface of solid insulating material and drops a conductive liquid ( 0.1%NH 4 CL) to evaluate the leakage resistance of the surface of solid insulating materials under the combined action of electric field and wet or polluted medium.
