Introduction
This instrument is made and designed as per national standard of People's Republic of China GB/T 8017 Petroleum Products- Determination of vapor pressure- Reid method. It can also be used to do determination according to ASTM D323 Standard Test Method for Vapor Pressure of Petroleum Products (Reid Method). It is used to make determination for vapor pressure of gasoline, volatile crude oil and other volatile petroleum products. It cannot be used to determine the vapor pressure of LGP. It is fully-automatic vapor pressure tester by PC control and operation.

Reid Method:

In a temperature environment of 37.8°C, when the volume ratio of steam to oil is 4:1, the maximum pressure of steam measured by a Reid vapor pressure tester is called Reid saturated vapor pressure. This method is commonly used to evaluate whether the quality of commercial crude oil has undergone stability treatment.

  • Change the movement mode of the test bomb from the traditional 350-degree rotation of the horizontal axis to a "seesaw" type movement, so that the sample is more fully stirred in the test bomb, and more in line with the requirements of the standard, and the results are more accurate.
  • Built-in heating protection function. When there is no water or too little water in the water bath, the system will automatically cut off the heater and stop the water pump. Avoid damage to heater and water pump.
