ASTM D1298 Petroleum Oil Density Tester for Petroleum Products Meter
Liquid density testers work on the principle of buoyancy and consist of three main components: a densitometer accuracy meter, a metal body and an electronic balance. By placing the density meter into the liquid to be tested, the accuracy meter will calculate the reduction in the volume of the ride air due to immersion in the liquid, and the electronic balance will calculate the increase in the weight of the ride object due to immersion in the liquid. The density of the liquid is then derived according to Alexander's principle of buoyancy.

Product Description

1. The instrument adopts desktop configuration. The heating furnace and controller are assembled to all-in-one machine. Small dimension and easy to use.
2. The max temperature of heating furnace can reach 520ºC. It adopts digital temperature controller. The temperature control accuracy can reach ±5ºC.
3. It can do four sample determinations concurrently. The test efficiency is high. 

Procedure

Use and maintenance:
1. After the instrument is opened, please check the appearance first, after each part is normal, then carry out the following work.
2. Firstly, inject water into the bath, and then use the multimeter to measure whether there is any short-circuit phenomenon in the instrument, and the power can be sent only after it is normal.
3. Connect the power supply, open the "power" switch, this time showing the temperature in the bath.
4. Turn on the power switch, turn on the stirring switch, stir the pulp evenly. When the instrument is shipped from the factory, the temperature control point is set at 20ºC. The upper digital display of the intelligent temperature controller is the measured temperature of the bath, and the lower digital display is the set temperature. If you need to set the temperature of the control point separately, please operate according to the following procedure: press the set key (within 3 seconds), the lower digital flashes, press the shift key:
The digital flashing bit moves, press the add key.
(1) digital increase, press the key of decrease 
(2) digital decrease, set the temperature, and then press the set key (within 3 seconds) digital flashing stop.
5. Then open the small cover of the instrument bathtub, put the prepared tester into the water bath, cover the small cover, then you can carry out the test.
6. After the implementation, open the small cover and take out the tester, cover the small cover and close the "refrigeration", "stirring" and "power" switches in turn.
7. Note:
(1) The "refrigeration" switch should not be switched on and off frequently, and there should be an interval of at least 10 minutes between every two switching on of the "refrigeration" switch. The compressor should not be tilted more than 45 degrees during handling.
(2), often keep the instrument clean, prevent acid, alkali, oil, moisture.
(3) When the instrument breaks down, it should be repaired by professional personnel, and should not be dismantled or unloaded.

Cautions:
1. first confirm whether the density tester is in normal state, if it is the first time to use, you need to calibrate the instrument.
2. Prepare the liquid to be tested and inject it into the density tester's density measuring instrument.
3.  the measuring instrument will then display the value of the liquid density, the user can be based on the liquid parameters of the calculation.
4. After use, remember to clean, sterilise and maintain the instrument to protect the service life and accuracy of the equipment.
