Introduction:

This  Protection Relay Tester  is used to calibrate, maintain and test the performance of three-phase overcurrent, earth fault, inverse time lag and other protective relays used in electrical substations and industries.  

The tester can simulate symmetrical and asymmetrical fault currents as required by various types of protection relays. It has channels for applying current to the three phases and neutral of the relay under test. The output current can be adjusted from 0 to 50A continuously.

Other key features include selectable frequencies from 45 to 65Hz, variable fault resistance from 0 to 200 ohms, a transient function to simulate inrush currents, and user-defined test sequences for automation. The tester is microprocessor based for high accuracy and stability of output currents.
