ASTM D93 PMCC Method Automated Pensky-Martens Flash Point Tester
Mixing based on liquid evaporation and combustible vapor. Place the sample in a closed testing chamber, and as the sample is heated, the temperature gradually increases. When a certain temperature is reached, the sample begins to produce flammable vapor, which is ignited by an igniter. If the flammable vapor is ignited and produces an instant flame, the temperature corresponding to this flash is the flash point. The sensor equipped on the instrument will detect and record this temperature.
Introduction:
The Pensky-Martens Flash Point Tester is designed and manufactured as per standards GB/T 261-2008 Determination of Flash Point - Pensky-Martens closed cup method and ASTM D93 Standard Test Method for Flash Point by Pensky-Martens Closed Cup Tester.
Pensky Martens Flash Point Tester is used to make determination of the closed cup flash point of the petroleum products.
