ASTM D 92 Cleveland Open Cup Apparatus for petroleum products, lube oil and gear oil

Product Description

(1) Power switch: located on the left of instrument. Turn on the switch and the instrument will power on.
(2) Manual ignition:Manual ignition button. Press it to ignition as need.
(3) Printer: It is a micro-printer; it can print out test data automatically after measurement.
(4) Display screen: Colored LCD. It can show test data and other parameters in real time.
(5) Operation buttons: They are blank buttons; please press them as per the prompts shown on the LCD screen.
(6) Ignition: It is a transverse structural part; electronic Ignition;
(7) Sample cup: It is made according to standard.Chongqing Gold
(8) Flame application device: It can apply flame across the surface of sample cup;
(9) Detecting ring: It is a ring structure part. It is used to check whether there is flash appears;
Note: Please keep the detection ring clean, or it will affect detection sensitivity.
(10) Temperature sensor: Located on test arm, it is placed into sample cup to detect the temperature of sample.
(11) Test arm: Place the sample cup on the sample cup seat when it is raised up and it will enter the working state when it is lowered down.
Note: The test arm is automatically controlled, so please do not move it forcibly by hand to avoid any damage to the test arm.
(12) Flame adjustment knob: it is used to adjust the flame size of flame pilot and flame application device (The gas source is adjusted by the gas output valve);
(13) Cover plate: located in the instrument interior on right side; It will rotate out automatically to cover sample cup to prevent accidents when determining the fire point and sustain burning for a minimum of 5 s.
(14) Heating device: It is used to heat sample.

Main technical features

1. This Cleveland Open Cup Apparatus is a kind of fully-automatic instrument which can do determination for both flash point and fire point. It adopts LCD screen to display and full English man-machine interface. It can preset expected flash point temperature, sample mark number, barometric pressure and other parameters.It has menu prompt and input guide.
2. It adopts simulation tracking to display the function curve of temperature rising and test time. It has the functions of English mis-operation prompt,test date,test time and other parameters.
3. It can store 10 screens,120groups data. 
4. Automatically calibrate the effect of atmospheric pressure to test and calculate the corrected value.
5. Differential coefficient detection.Automatically correct the system deviation.
6. Automatically open the lid,detect the flash point and print test data.The test arm automatically rise up and lower down

An example

1. If the oil sample is lubricating oil, the expected flash point of which is 180 ºC, you can preset temperature to 180 ºC. Then the instrument will apply flame to the sample at a temperature 28 ºC lower than the preset temperature (152 ºC). If the expected flash point of oil sample is unknown, please set critical value of flash point (such as 180ºC), then preset temperature from low to high.
2. Please preset sample ID for recording. It can be numbered in the range of 1~999.
3.According to different altitude, test results have relative error. The instrument can modify the influence of barometric pressure on test value and calculate the correction value automatically through inputting local barometric pressure
(refer to GB/T3536 standard for barometric pressure correction value), modify the value as the table below:
