Product Description

1. Principle

It has the same principle as the cone calorimeter and the test scale is between them. In the SBI test, the heat release rate at a certain moment can be calculated by measuring the change of oxygen concentration during the test, as well as indicators such as flue gas flow and CO2 concentration in the pipeline, and then the maximum value of heat release rate and time ratio during the test can be measured, namely the FIGRA index of heat release rate. The index is used to grade the flame retardancy of building materials
 

2. Structure
The whole test equipment includes a combustion laboratory, control room, trolley, smoke exhaust pipe, data collection and analysis device, gas supply control device.

INTRODUCTION
Single Burning Item (SBI) measures the performance of building materials (excluding floor materials) under the condition of heat attack of cell combustion. The sample is placed in the flame in the sliding chamber (methane sandbox combustion box) under the exhaust pipe. The reaction of the sample under combustion is monitored by both machine and the eye. The heat and flue gas release rate is measured by instrument, and the performance of the object is evaluated by observation.
