the introduction of iso 5660 tester:
ISO 5660 Cone Calorimeter for Building Materials Combution Tester is derived from the conical heater as used by Dr. Vytenis Babrauskas to inspect test specimen(100×100) with flux up to 100/ for the bench scale oxygen depletion of his development. 
Cone Calorimeter is based on the theory that pure combustion calories are in proportion to a necessary amount of oxygen for combustion and 13.1 MJ/kg is generated whenever oxygen 1kg is consumed, and heat emission, ignition time, oxygen consumption, CO and CO2 generation, and flow of ignited gases as generated from test materials are measured. 
Cone Calorimeter, as properly sized for lab use, is designed to enable auto operation of all units connected with DAQ(Data Acquisition) Program so that user can conveniently perform test. Also, it reduces installation space and automatically advances test with the 17inch Touch Screen. This tester fully meets the international standard.

the main features:

The conical calorimeter is designed in a separate cabinet, and the analysis cabinet can be moved. It can not only be used in the test of the conical calorimeter, but also be connected to the large-scale heat release rate test system, such as single combustion test device, solid room fire and cable fire classification test, which conforms to ISO 5660, ASTM E1354, GB/T16172 and other test standards.

Integrated test body and 19-inch analysis cabinet, embedded PC 15-inch industrial touch screen computer, used for the whole control and test process;

The cone heater is rated at 5000W, and its thermal output is 0 ~ 100kW/m2. It is controlled by PID temperature controller, and the radiation cone can be placed horizontally or vertically.

The sample box can store samples with a maximum of 100mm x 100mm x 50mm;

Sample weighing range 0 ~ 2000g;Accuracy: 0.1g (different range and accuracy can also be provided according to customer requirements);

Ignition system is no less than 10KV high-voltage spark generator, using rotating cylinder automatic positioning;

Paramagric oxygen analyzer, range 0-25%, response time: 4 seconds, linear deviation: ≤0.5% FS, repeatability: ≤50 PPM O2, sensitivity drift: ≤ 0.1 vol.% O2/ week or ≤ 1% measured value/week (not cumulative), the smaller of the two, detection limit: ≤50 PPM O2;

Non-dispersive infrared CO and CO2 analyzer CO: 0 ~ 1%;CO2:0 ~ 10%, measurement principle: infrared absorption, response time: 2.5 seconds, linear deviation: ≤1% FS, repeatability: ≤0.5% FS, zero drift: ≤1% FS/ week, detection limit: ≤0.5% FS;

Smoke density analysis USES laser system to measure smoke density. The system consists of photodiode, he-ne laser, main detector and auxiliary detector.

The exhaust system is composed of fan, smoke collection hood, exhaust pipe and orifice plate flowmeter, etc. The flow rate of smoke exhaust fan is adjustable from 0 to 50g/s with an accuracy of 0.1g/s.

The annular sampler is installed in the air inlet pipe 685 mm away from the smoke collecting hood. There should be 12 small holes on the sampler to homogenize the air composition.
