ASTM D852 Low Temperature Oil Pour Point Cloud Solidification Point Test Cooling Baths 

Significance and Use:
The pour point of a petroleum specimen is an index of the lowest temperature of its utility for certain applications.
This test method covers and is intended for use on any petroleum product.A procedure suitable for black specimens, cylinder stock, and nondistillate fuel oil

Working condition:
1. The instrument should be placed on a flat and firm workbench without air draft.
2. The combustible materials are involved during test, so there should not have any fire (or device can bring out any spark) near the instrument.
3. The instrument should be placed in a dry and ventilated area after tests.
4. Power supply is single phase three wires system. It should have fine grounding end.

Features

1. The working table is stainless steel material. It has two chambers(chamber I and chamber II) .Each chamber equipped two cooling baths.The temperature of these two baths are the same. All cooling baths can determine pour point and cloud point.
2. Pour and cloud point tester is no need to use coolant in the chamber. The cooling speed is fast and cooling efficiency is high. The temperature controller I controls the temperature of chamber I and temperature controller II controls the temperature of chamber II. The minimum temperature of chamber II can reach -70ºC and temperature control precision is ±1ºC.
3. The instrument adopts bench structure, concise design and easy to use.

1. The upper surface of the instrument is made of stainless steel. The two baths at left side form the cold trough I, and the two baths at right side form the cold trough II. Both cold trough I and cold trough II can be used for pour point and cloud point test.
2. The right side of the instrument is controlling parts. The temperature controller I and temperature controller II are used to control temperature in the cold trough I and cold trough II respectively. 
3. There is a refrigeration compressor system installed in the inside of the instrument. The system is a refrigeration chamber of the instrument. It is forbidden for nonprofessional to disassemble the working chamber.
