Principle:
The GDY-1A+ Bomb Calorimeter is an affordable high resolution is operibolic temperature regulated oxygen bomb calorimeter with embedded control computer.
The bomb calorimeter is the most common device for measuring the heat of combustion or calorific value of a material. With this apparatus a test specimen of specified mass is burned under standard is conditions. The heat of combustion determined under these conditions is calculated on the basis of the observed temperature rise while taking account of heat loss. The combustion process is initiated inside an atmosphere of oxygen in a constant volume container, the bomb, which is a vessel built to withstand high pressures. It is immersed in a stirred water bath, and the whole device is the calorimeter vessel. The calorimeter vessel is also immersed in an outer water bath. The water temperature in the calorimeter vessel and that of the outer bath are both monitored.

3) Bomb Calorimeter adopts the self sealing type oxygen bomb, all the structure is made of stainless steel, and the strength is enough to withstand the pressure test of 20MPa at room temperature.
4) The inner tube of the instrument is made by stainless steel sheet, section of pears, put the barrel of water was 3000 grams, water cylinder with electric blender, to ensure that the inner tube water bath temperature uniformity.
5) Bomb Calorimeter of the external water jacket is a double container and experiment when filled with water, through the water jacket mixer to cylinder in uniform temperature, formed to meet the test requirements of the constant temperature environment.

Main Structure

(1) Main unit of calorimeter: It consists of outer bucket, inner bucket, stirring motor and oxygen bomb.
(2) Cover of the water bucket: Double-layer moist cover on both inner and outer bucket. Equipped with stirring motor and temperature sensor.
(3) Stirring motor: Stirring motor for water bath in inner bucket.
(4) Temperature sensor: Precise temperature sensor in inner bucket.
(5) Stirring rod: Manual stirring rod for water bath in outer bucket(Used to stir manually when needed).  
(6) Printer: Micro-needle printer, 40 bytes per row (DBC case).
(7) Screen: Colored LED screen, shows different kinds of parameters.

(9) Oxygen bomb cylinder: Stainless steel and high pressure resistance. The sample is tested in the cylinder.
