TOI (High Temperature Limited Oxygen Index Tester Burning Analyzer ISO 4589) measures the temperature index of the specimen by heating the mixture of gases to a temperature up to 400ºC in an atmosphere of oxygen concentration. According to ISO 4589-3, high temperature is the best factor to assess the combustibility of materials better than the Oxygen Index.
