Product Description

Introduction:

Smoke Box (ISO 5659 NBS Flammability Analyzer Smoke Density Chamber For Plastic ) measures optical density of smoke generated from test sample when test sample of a certain thickness is exposed to the heat source(2.5W/cm2, 2KW/m2 using by ASTM E 662 furnace) or fire in a chamber.

ISO 5659 NBS Flammability Analyzer Smoke Density Chamber For Plastic is satisfied with standards ASTM E 662, BS6401, ISO 5659, NES 711, NEPA 258, etc.

Using ISO 5659 conical radiant heat furnace, We can change the heating condition from 10KW/m2 to 5KW/m2 or 70kW/m2 according to different requirements.

 Feature:

• 1. The test chamber consists of a chamber, a sample box, a radiation cone, an igniter, a light transmission and measurement device, and other related control devices.
• 2. Incorporate ergonomic structural design and control design; the box adopts a full-door design; the door lock design facilitates one-time closing of the door.
• 3. The test box door can be fully opened for easy loading and unloading of samples and cleaning of the box, internal dimensions of the combustion box: length (914mm±3mm) x width (914mm±3mm) x height (610mm±3mm).
• 4. The front door hinge is installed, equipped with a viewing window and a movable opaque light shield that can block the viewing window to prevent light from entering the sealed box.
• 5. The diameter of the upper and lower light windows is 75mm.
• 6. The controller is located on the side of the box for easy operation. Viewing the controller is not affected when the door is closed.
• 7. The box is equipped with an auxiliary heating device to quickly adjust the temperature in the test box; the power is 500W, which can stabilize the internal temperature of the test box at 40ºC ± 5ºC or 55ºC ± 5ºC.
• 8. Safety flameout plate, easy to replace and safer to operate.
• 9. A gas measurement port can be provided for testing gas toxicity (Optional).
• 10. The coating of the test box is easy to clean and resists chemical corrosion.
• 11. The smoke box is equipped with an exhaust valve and connected to an exhaust fan.
