Function and Application
SF6 density relay is an important protection device used to monitor the change of SF6 gas density inside the electrical equipment using SF6 as insulation material in operation. Operation of the SF6 gas density relay due to infrequent action, after a period of time, there may be action is not flexible, poor contact and other phenomena, and some will also appear density relay temperature compensation performance deterioration, when the ambient temperature changes lead to the SF6 density relay misoperation. Therefore, for the installation of SF6 density relay GIS and other power equipment maintenance, should be regularly installed SF6 gas density relay calibration. GDMD-H density relay calibrator can be used to calibrate the SF6 density relay action value and logic.
