IFT measurement:
1. Use tweezers to pick up the clean platinum plate. Use a sprinkler to burn the platinum plate until it turns red, hang the plate and cover the bulb. Hang the charred platinum plate on the hook
2. Put the measuring liquid into the sample pan, and then place the sample to be tested on the sample stage. Always visually check the height of the platinum plate before placing it. if it may be submerged in the sample
3. After placing the sample: start counting for five minutes to read a value, after taking the value, press the "down" key, the sample stage will gradually descend, separate the platinum plate from the sample to be tested, and then press "up" , and repeat the operation twice. Take this value for 5 minutes each time, and then add the three read values to get the average value, which is the evaluation value of the sample.
4. Carefully remove the container containing the sample into the sample to be inspected, then gently place the completed container in the wash basin and rinse with running water.
5. Pick up the platinum plate with tweezers and rinse with tap water. When washing, pay attention to keep a certain angle with the water flow.

Cleaning of Automatic Surface Tension Meter:
Clean the sample cup with petroleum ether, followed by acetone and water respectively, and then soak it in hot chromic acid wash to remove oil, and then rinse it with water and distilled water, if the sample is not to be used immediately, it should be inverted on a piece of clean cloth, and the platinum ring should be cleaned with petroleum ether, and then rinsed with ketone, and then heated in the oxidizing flame of an alcohol lamp. Note: The platinum ring should be cleaned by removing it from the ring holder rod, and the power supply of the instrument must be switched off when the platinum ring is removed and installed, and after installing the platinum ring, the platinum ring should be made to be on the same plane in each part.
