What is Breakdown Voltage Oil Test ?

Breakdown Voltage test also called the BDV Test. Over time this oil is exposed to mechanical and electrical stress as well as to chemical contamination. When the functionality is reduced it can lead to power outages. To maintain and extend the life of the power transformer and to avoid severe breakdowns, breakdown voltage test is very important. It is performed for verifying the dielectric strength of the transformer oil. Dielectric Strength is the maximum capacity to resist the voltage of insulating oil.

Our Advantages:

We have 2 modes
1) After the boost to the set value, if it doesn't breakdown within one minute, it will return to 0. 
2) After the boost to the set value, if it doesn't breakdown within one minute, it can continue to boost until it breaks down.

* These two modes are easy to calibrate and can be used as a withstand voltage tester. Just oil qualified, unnecessary breakdown. Breakdown is a destructive test.

* Five Test Standards, which includes:IEC60156, IS6792, BS5874, ASTM D1816, ASTM D877.
