Asphalt viscometer operating procedures
1. Turn on the power of the asphalt viscometer.
2. According to the grade of the tested asphalt and related technical requirements, select the diameter of the oil hole of the oil tank.
3. Block the oil hole with a metal handle.
4. The injected water should not be too full, and be careful not to exceed the scale line.
5. Take the asphalt sample and put it into the cup to melt.
6. According to the requirements of asphalt, adjust the heat conduction electrode to the required temperature, and then turn on the heating switch. After meeting the temperature conditions, lift the metal rod in the oil tank, the asphalt can flow out and place it upside down in the measuring cylinder, add an appropriate amount of water to wait for the sample to flow by itself The hole flows into the measuring cylinder of 25ml, press the stopwatch, when the flow stops at 100ml, press the stopwatch and record the elapsed time.
7. After the test is completed, turn off the power of the instrument.
8. Clean up the test items and the site so that the next test can be carried out immediately.
