Product Description

Reference standards: ASTM D7279, D445, D446, NB/SH/T 0956-2017, T/CEC 127-2016, the measurement results meet and exceed the requirements of the GB/T265 standard.

* The Automated Houillon Viscometer is an automatic instrument for rapid determing the kinematic viscosity of oil products. It is designed and manufactured in accordance with ASTM D7279; the instrument has the functions of automatic detection and automatic cleaning, and its performance is comparable to imported similar instruments.

*Measurement of the kinematic viscosity of transparent and opaque liquids; such as base oils,formulated oils, diesel oil, biodiesel, biodiesel blends, residual fuel oils, marine fuels, and used lubricating oils using a Houillon viscometer in automated mode.

*Using a "Houillon" capillary tube, GD-SF01D Series Viscometers automatically determine kinematic viscosity of lubricating oils, used oils, fuels, polymers, and similar materials over a wide viscosity range. Initially developed for lubricant blending facilities, research laboratories, and used oil monitoring where small sample size and quick results were required, the GD-SF01D viscometer offers exceptional performance, providing results in 60 seconds using less than 1 ml of sample.

Main Technical Features

1. The measurement speed is fast. The fastest time to get results in fast mode is 15 seconds, generally within 3 minutes, the whole process of sampling, measurement, cleaning, drying, and result calculation generally takes no more than 7 minutes.
2. High degree of automation. Measurement, cleaning, drying, result calculation, and repeatability calculation are all automatically completed.
3. Applicable to various types of measurement samples. It can measure transparent and opaque samples, including Newtonian liquids such as gasoline, diesel, kerosene, cutting fluid, heat transfer oil, additives, new oil of lubricating oil and in-use oil.
4. The cleaning is fast and the cleaning cost is low. A cleaning process generally consumes no more than 10 ml of cleaning fluid.
5. Many auxiliary functions. Including: constant calibration, temperature calibration, internal clock timing verification, automatic viscosity index calculation, automatic conversion of kinematic viscosity-Engler viscosity.
6. Software and hardware dual over-temperature protection, over-temperature alarm, and anti-dry protection function.
7. Fast heating and cooling speed. The fastest rate of temperature rise and fall is 5°C/min.
8. Double-layer glass cylinder is used to make the temperature more uniform.
9. It adopes PT500 high-precision temperature sensor, the temperature of the constant temperature bath is stable and accurate, and the temperature control accuracy can reach 0.01ºC.
10. It can be equipped with a disposable filter, which greatly reduces the workload of operator on sample pretreatment.
11. The viscometer can be changed quickly without emptying the constant temperature bath.
12. Data can be transmitted wirelessly via WIFI and connected to the LIMS system.
