This Peroleum Product Cleveland Open-Cup Flash Point Tester is designed and manufactured according to the specified requirements, and is suitable for determining the flash point and ignition point of petroleum products and asphalt with an open cup flash point higher than 79 ºC, except for fuel oil.

Preparation before test

1. Please carefully read the Operation Manual before using the instrument.
2. Please carefully read National Standard of People's Republic of China GB/T 3536 "Test Methods for Flash and Fire Point of Petroleum Products (Cleveland Open Cup Methods)", and Industry Standard of People's Republic of China JTJ058-T 0611 "Asphalt Flash and Fire Point Test (Cleveland Open Cup Methods)" and T 0633 "Liquid Asphalt Flash Point Test (Tag Open Cup Methods)" to acquaint and familiar with the test methods, test procedure and test requirement stipulated in the standard.
3. Please place the instrument in a dark place without any air drift to observe the flash. Get ready for all the tools and materials as per the requirement of the Standard.
4. Check the working state of the instrument to ensure that it is in accord with the working environment and condition stipulated in the Operation Manual.
5. Check the outer shell of the instrument to make sure it is fine grounded.
