Wires and cables that are difficult to catch fire and have the ability to prevent or delay the spread of flames usually refer to wires and cables that can pass the GB/T18380.3 (equivalent to IEC60332-3) test; TESTIC wire and cable fire resistance impact tester and in accordance with IEC 60331-12 BS6387 -2013 standard research and development and production, used to test the integrity of the circuit when the flame temperature is not lower than 830°C and a certain impact vibration is applied. Can test the A, B, C, D class flame retardant properties of cables.

Features

Fire resistance test equipment requirements :

1.The burner has a nozzle 500mm long and 15mm wide. There are three rows of staggered holes on the nozzle, with a hole radius of 1.32 mm and a hole spacing of 3.2 mm. Comes with Venturi mixer;
2.The test ladder frame for installing cables is fastened to the supporting steel base; during the test process, the vertical components on both sides of the test ladder can be adjusted according to different cable size requirements (test frame length: 1200mm, height: 60mm, total weight: 18±1kg)
3.The inner diameter of the metal ring is approximately: 150 mm.
With temperature measurement device (K-type thermocouple with diameter less than 2mm, 75mm away from the flame opening).
4.The front end of the burner blowtorch should be no less than 200MM from the bottom of the box and no less than 500MM from the box wall.
5.According to the test level, the flame temperature is adjustable: 600~1000° (A grade 650°, B 6.grade 750°, C and D grade 950°)
7.The horizontal axis of the burner is 40-60MM from the center of the test cable, and the longitudinal axis of the burner is 100-120MM from the longitudinal axis of the sample cable.
8.Five metal rings with an inner diameter of approximately 150 mm as required by the standard are provided. The distance between the metal rings can be adjusted freely to facilitate the fixation and support of the test sample.

Hammer test device:

1. Stainless steel bracket impact structure; box body spray-painted;

2. Independent motor hits the control box;

3. A thick round steel rod with a hammering cone of ¢25 and a length of 600.

4. The hammering cone hits with free fall at an angle of 60°.

5. The motor drives the rod hammer to perform periodic hammering and impact actions.

6. Hammering cycle (time): 10~999S (can be set, standard requirement is 30±2S/time)

7. Total test time: 0~9999S

8. Ribbon burner (same as spray test) (shared with refractory combustion test bench)

9. Test temperature 600~1000° (A grade 650°, B grade 750°, C and D grade 950°)

10. The diameter of the temperature measuring thermocouple is less than ¢2mm. (Shared with fire resistance combustion test bench)

11. Each phase cable carries a current of 0.25A during the test.

Spray test device (optional):

1. Use propane or natural gas burners and use an integral 400mm long ribbon burner.
2. The combustion test temperature is 650±40°.
3. Use a thermocouple with a diameter not larger than ¢2 to measure temperature.
4. The water supply pressure of the sprinkler head is 250~350Kpa, and the water spray volume of the test sample is about 5.0.25~0.3L/S.m2.
6. The test length of the sample is approximately 400mm.
7. During the test, the test cable is energized through an isolation transformer and connected to a 3A fuse or circuit breaker, and there are on-off signal lights for each phase cable.
