0-100kv Transformer Oil Bdv Tester Dielectric Oil Strength Tester
Instrument introduction
The GDYJ-501
High Voltage Insulating Oil Test Equipment is developed according to the international standard IEC60156/ASTM D877. The LCD display can show the test process and results, the built-in EEPROM memory can save 100 groups of data, all human-machine interaction operations are completed by the rotary mouse. A micro-printer can print the test results at any time. The tester is easy to operate, powerful, stable and reliable with strong anti-interference capability and no dead time during the test.

Tips_Poor quality oil tests can easily damage equipment
Recycled, unfiltered and processed oil is called poor quality oil and contains a lot of moisture and impurities, and its insulation strength is mostly below 12KV. Particularly poor quality oil containing more water, some users use the instrument to test the high insulation strength in order to know how bad it is, which results in damage to the high voltage test system of this instrument.
Under normal circumstances, the high voltage electrodes are filled with insulating oil. When testing the voltage between the two electrodes is constantly increasing, the different insulation strength of the oil medium can withstand different values of high voltage electric field, this rising high voltage electric field causes the insulation oil medium can not withstand when the sudden breakdown, the breakdown of the transient current is collected by the instrument and immediately break off the loss of high voltage into reduced voltage operation.
When testing the poor quality oil containing heavy moisture, the voltage between the two hemispherical electrodes is constantly rising, while the water particles in the oil medium are adsorbed into the ball gap under the action of the high voltage electric field to form a light white mist-like water column, from fine to coarse, the water resistance is getting smaller and smaller. This water resistance becomes smaller, the high voltage transformer current increases (and no breakdown of the sudden discharge) of the transient process resulting in damage to the instrument, current limiting resistor, fuse burned or even will burn the instrument high voltage transformer.
