ASTM D36 Automatic Softening Point Apparatus for measuring the Softening Point of Bitumen
Introduction:
1. The Softening Point Apparatus(ASTM D36) is designed and made as per GB/T4507 Standard Test Method for Softening Point of Petroleum Asphalt of national standard of People's Republic of China, T0606-2011 Asphalt Softening Point Test (Ring-and-Ball method) in the Industrial Standard of People's Republic of China JTG E20-2011 Standard Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixtures for Highway Engineering and ASTM D36 Standard Test Method for Softening of Bitumen (Ring-and-Ball Apparatus).
2. The Softening Point Apparatus(ASTM D36) is suitable for measuring the softening point of road petroleum asphalt and polymer-modified asphalt, as well as for the distillation residue of liquid petroleum asphalt, coal asphalt, or the evaporation residue of emulsified asphalt.
3. It is also suitable for the determination of the softening point of some resin materials.
Features:
1. The water bath experiment at 20 ~ 90 ºC can be selected, and the glycerin experiment at 70 ~ + 160 ºC can also be performed.
2. It adopts microcomputer control, automatic stirring, linear heating, and the standard requirement of maintaining a heating rate of 5 ºC / min.
3. Automatic detection, automatically display and print the test results after the experiment.
4. The beaker is made of high temperature resistant glass, and the specifications of the steel ball positioning ring and steel ball meet the standard requirements.
5. Small desktop structure, the control system and the heating system are separated (one left and one right), avoiding the failure of the high temperature test of the heating system to the electronic components.
6. The designed high-reliability softening point detection device was awarded the national patent, the patent number is ZL201821603408.8
