1 Sampling volume error
Generally, when we test the solid particle contamination in the oil, the actual sampling volume is often very small, and the vast majority of solid particle contamination level is divided according to the number of particles per 100mL of liquid, therefore, if the sampling volume is not accurate, when determining the solid particle contamination level, it tends to amplify the testing error.

4 Calibration curve
The particle counter is tested by converting the projected area of the particle into a pulse voltage, so there is a strict one-to-one correspondence between the projected diameter of the particle and the corresponding pulse voltage amplitude, and this correspondence is the calibration curve of the sensor .
For the uniform particle size on the calibration curve, due to the different calibration methods used, the corresponding thresholds are also different, and there is generally no fixed proportional relationship between these calibration curves, and they cannot be converted between each other. Therefore, when using the calibration curve, be sure to figure out which calibration curve should be used. GOLD's instruments can perform single-channel and multi-channel calibration, and realize the automatic calibration function.
