1. The electric controlling part is composed of two sets of controlling cases. You can adjust the heating power of each controlling case as your requirement.
2. The controlling case is made by cold rolling steel plate, and there is one at each side. There is an observation window in the front of each controlling case and there is a furnace in each controlling case. Put a distillation flask on the furnace during distillation. The electric controlling part is at the bottom of controlling case.
3. The electric furnace is composed of furnace base made by SiC, heater of 1000W/220 V, and SiC plate. By rotating the up and down knob (height adjustment knob), you can change the position of furnace to adjust the relative position of distillation flask and condensing tube. The heating power can be adjusted using the voltage adjustment knob.
4. The water bath is made by stainless steel. It contains heating, temperature measuring, and stirring device. The stirring device is composed of magnetic stirring wheel and stirring motor.
5. The dimension of condensing tube is made as per GB/T6536.

1.Open the package and place the instrument on a stable workbench, please adjust the four feet of the instrument to level the instrument and keep it stable.
2. Add water into the water bath 1 and water bath 2 until the water level is about 20 mm lower than the upper shell.
Note: It is forbidden to let the instrument get power when there is no water in the water bath.
3.Please place the magnetic stirring wheels into the water bath 1 and water bath2. The stirring wheel should be in the center at the bottom of the water bath.
4.Turn on the power supply switch, and then the indication light is on. Adjust the position of distillation flask and gradated flask.
5. Press the switches for temperature controller I or II, and then the temperature controlling system and stirring system for water bath I or II start working. Check the magnetic stirring wheels in water bath 1 and water bath 2, if they do not work well, they may not be in the center of the bath, please adjust them.
6. Press the SET button on the temperature controller to preset the condensation temperature as per test requirements.
7. When the temperature of water bath reaches to the preset temperature, please rotate voltage adjustment knob to adjust heating power of electric furnace to control the temperature rising speed.
8. Read and record test data as per the National Standard of People's republic of China GB/T6536 "Test Methods for Distillation Characteristics of Petroleum Products".
9. Adjust the furnace to a suitable place to avoid any damage to the branch tube of distillation flask during removal of the distillation flask.
10. Please turn off the power supply and clean the instrument after test.
11. Please drain out liquids in the bath. Flush the bath using water and dry it. Then place the instrument in a dry and ventilated area without any corrosive gas.
Note: When the ambient temperature is lower than 0 ºC, please exhaust water in the bath to avoid any damage to the instrument caused by freezing.
