What is softening point of bitumen?
Softening point is usually used to indicate the temperature stability of petroleum asphalt. The softening point is the temperature at which the asphalt changes from solid state to a certain flow behavior when heated. The higher the softening point, the better the heat resistance of the asphalt, that is, the better the temperature stability. The softening point of asphalt can not be too low, otherwise the lower level is easy to melt soft; But it can not be too high, otherwise it is not easy to construction, and brittle cracking is easy to occur in winter.
Relationship among the three major indicators of needle penetration, softening point and ductility?
