Sweep frequency response analysis (SFRA) is a method to evaluate the mechanical integrity of core,windings and clamping structures within power transformer by measuring their electrical transfer functions over a wide frequency range.GDRZ-903 Transformer Sweep Frequency Response Analyzer can use two methods to detect the deformation of the transformer at the same time. One is the sweep frequency response analysis method, the other is low-voltage short-circuit impedance analysis method. Using two methods can effectively reduce incorrect judgments.
The Sweep Frequency Response Analyzer (SFRA) injects a range of frequencies into a power transformer winding. If the transformer is built correctly with no imperfections or faults, the resulting frequency response plot of Gain Vs Frequency should exhibit a distinct shape that becomes the transformer's "fingerprint" for that particular winding and transformer type.
