Oil density tester is an instrument used to accurately measure the density of oil substances. Its working principle is mainly based on Archimedes' principle, which states that the buoyancy of an object in a liquid is equal to the gravity of the liquid it displaces. By measuring the buoyancy of an object with a known volume in oil, the density of the oil can be calculated.

Application

GD1884 Liquid Petroleum Products Density Tester is designed and made as per the  National Standard GB/T 18842000 "Test Methods for Density of Petroleum and Liquid Petroleum  Products (Densimeter Methods);
This Density Tester is designed and made as per standards GB/T 1884-2000 Crude petroleum and liquid petroleum products - Laboratory determination of density - Hydrometer method and ASTM D1298 Standard Test Method for Density, Relative Density(Specific Gravity),or API Gravity of Crude Petroleum and Liquid Petroleum Products by Hydrometer Method. It is used to determine the density of crude petroleum and liquid petroleum.
