Principal of Atomic Absorption Analyzer:
Atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) is a method of quantitative analysis based on the absorption of characteristic spectral lines by atomic vapors produced by matter.
The principle of atomic absorption spectrophotometer is to convert the substance to be analyzed into a solution in an appropriate way, and the solution is introduced into the atomizer in a fog. At this point, the element under test is atomized into a ground state atomic vapor in the atomizer. When the characteristic spectral line emitted by the light source with the same wavelength absorbed by the measured element passes through the ground state atomic vapor, the light energy is weakened by the absorption of the ground state atom, and the relationship between the degree of weakening (absorbance) and the number of ground state atoms (element concentration) under certain conditions follows the Lambert-Beale law. After being absorbed by the ground state atom, the spectral line is divided by the spectral system, received by the detector, converted into an electrical signal, and then amplified by the amplifier, and the absorbance or spectral diagram is displayed by the display system.
