Introduction:
The BS 476-6 test method is a method for determining the flame propagation properties of materials. It is mainly used to evaluate the fire performance of wall and ceiling linings. The results of the test are expressed as a flame propagation index. During the test, the specimen was exposed to a tube blowtorch. The heat release of the lamp was 530J/microsecond. After 2 minutes and 45 seconds of testing, adjust the total power of the two electric heaters to 1800 watts. At 5 minutes into the test, reduce the power to 1500 watts, and then maintain this power unchanged until the end of the test. The total test time is 20 minutes.
