Role of the main configuration

Variable frequency source: provides adjustable high-frequency voltage signals to generate the resonant effect in the resonant circuit. The variable frequency source can adjust the output frequency to match the characteristics of the tested equipment for accurate resonant testing.

Exciting transformer: boosts the output signal from the variable frequency source to the required high voltage level for testing. The exciting transformer is one of the key components in the resonant circuit, generating high voltage and high-frequency signals by transferring energy to the capacitors and inductors in the resonant circuit.

Reactor: limits the current in the resonant circuit to ensure stable operation. In the AC resonant test system, the reactor is usually used to limit the current in the resonant circuit to avoid overcurrent damage to the tested equipment or the exciting transformer.

Capacitive divider: measures the voltage in the resonant circuit to ensure testing accuracy and reliability. The capacitive divider divides the high voltage signal to a safe voltage level and transmits the divided signal to the testing instrument for measurement.
