Description
The Very Low Frequency (VLF) AC Hipot Tester is an advanced electrical testing equipment that is used to verify the insulation strength of high voltage cables, transformers, and other electrical apparatus. This tester applies a very low frequency alternating current (VLF) waveform to the device under test, which simulates the effects of an AC voltage stress on the insulation system.
The VLF AC Hipot Tester is a highly versatile instrument that can be used for a variety of applications, including:
Caution
To use this instrument, an AC power supply of 220V/50Hz with a frequency stability of less than 0.5% is required. The capacitance of the sample being tested should not exceed the instrument's rated capacity, as this could affect the output waveform. If the capacitance is less than 0.05µF, the instrument cannot output normally. Boosting voltage without a load or connecting to a resistive load is strictly prohibited when using this instrument.
