Smoke Box (NBS Flammability Analyzer Smoke Density Chamber For Plastic) measures the optical density of smoke generated from a test sample when a test sample of a certain thickness is exposed to a heat source(2.5W/cm2, 2KW/m2 using ASTM E 662 furnace) or fire in a chamber.
NBS Flammability Analyzer Smoke Density Chamber For Plastic is satisfied with standards ASTM E 662, BS6401, ISO 5659, NES 711, NEPA 258, etc.
Using an ISO 5659 conical radiant heat furnace, we can change the heating condition from 10 kW/m2 to 50 kW/m2 or 70 kW/m2 according to different requirements.

The inner dimensions of the chamber are 914mm±3mm long, 914mm±3mm high, and 610mm±3mm deep.
The inner surface consists of a Teflon coating, which is resistant to chemical attack and corrosion and easily cleaned.
