ASTM D1120 Equilibrium Boiling Point Tester for Engine Coolants
Introduction:
The Equilibrium Boiling Point Tester is used to determine the equilibrium boiling point of the engine coolant and it is suitable for diluted or concentrated engine coolant. A 60 ml sample was placed in a 100 ml beaker and heated to boiling under normal pressure. When the gas-liquid equilibrium was reached, the temperature of the sample was read and corrected by atmospheric pressure difference to determine the boiling point of the sample.
