Product Description

Regarding Kinematic Viscosity:
1. The definition of viscosity is a measure of a liquid's resistance to movement. It means how thick or thin the liquid is, how easily it flows.
2. Kinematic Viscosity is a measure of resistance to the liquid moving.This is different to Dynamic viscosity, which measures the resistance of another object moving through the liquid.
3. The time taken for the liquid to flow is measured, it could be the time it takes to travel through a capillary, or through a cup with a hole in the base.
4. The Kinematic Viscosity reported in centiStokes (cSt) or report in mm2/s.

Main Structure

The Intelligent Kinematic Viscometer is mainly composed of water bath, temperature controller, test parameter (capillary coefficient, time, and kinematic viscosity, etc) calculation and display device, printer, and clamps for capillary viscometers

1. Clamps for capillary viscometers
It is a special device for holding capillary viscometers. It is convenient and safe.
2. Water bath
It is a φ300mm×300 mm hardness glass aquarium. Adopting thermal insulating materials outside, it can control temperature within ±0.01 ºC.
3. Test parameter calculation and display device
It is composed of SCM circuit, keyboard and LCD. You can complete all the operation using buttons. The LCD interface adopts man machine conversation interface. It is automatic, intelligent, intuitive and convenient to be operated. It has timing function, and it can select valid time range of flowing time and calculate arithmetic average value automatically. 
4. Printer
Using pin type micro-printer, it can print out the viscosity value directly after test. It is convenient and quick, and easy to save test data.
5. Temperature controller
Adopting a high precision digital temperature controller, it has characteristics of high temperature controlling precision, and digitalization display of temperature and parameters. 
6. Illumination system
With a 220 V, energy saving lamp, it can be used to observe reading of capillary viscometers clearly.

Main Technical Features

1. It adopts SCM controlling technology and colored LCD, so it is automatic and intelligent.
2. The operation procedures, such as signal collection, data measurement, parameter calculation, and data output, are automatically completed by the instrument. The LCD adopts man machine conversation interface, so it is convenient to be operated.
3. The instrument has timing function, and it can automatically select the valid timing range of the flowing time and calculate the arithmetic average value. It can also preset the viscometer coefficient in advance, and then calculate the viscosity and print out test data at the end of the test.
4. You can make test for one sample or make test for two samples at the same time after parameter preset, so it is efficient.
5. It has parameter saving function. The parameter will be saved automatically after you preset the capillary viscometer diameter, capillary viscometer coefficient, and other parameters. When you make test using the same capillary viscometer, it is not necessary to preset them again.
6. It adopts desktop and integrated structure. It is convenient to be operated.
